AMIRA'S SCHOOL COUNCIL EXPERIENCE
At Woodside, we understand the importance of our students’ views and opinions, and we have developed a system that provides an opportunity for discussion on important issues that surround the school.
The School Council is democratically elected every year, with two representatives representing each year group. Each representative’s role is to consult their peers over issues that arise and report back to their class at the earliest opportunity.
This year, we asked Amira to share her experience of being part of the School Council and some of the responsibilities she has taken up.
More information on the School Council can be found here.
