Year 11 Outdoor Adventure at Bowles!

On Friday 16th November forty Year 11 students travelled to Bowles Outdoor Activity Centre in Kent. The weekend was focused on English GCSE revision and the students were accompanied by Mr Davis, Ms Robinson, Ms Rollings, Mr Beaumont, Ms Hardy and Ms Merniz.

Friday night started with team building activities and some intense competitions! On Saturday and Sunday students were engaged in lessons helping them to prepare for their English Language GCSE. They were inspired by the great outdoors and created some really impressive pieces of writing.

On both days they also took part in a range of outdoor activities including rock climbing, the Jacob’s Ladder and taking a ‘Leap of Faith.’ Students pushed themselves to new limits and really challenged themselves to try new things.

It was a great weekend and our students showed great teamwork, resilience and commitment to their studies. Well done Year 11 and thank you to the staff who supported them!
